Description: This is the second of two walks today. Our yard is the culmination of (thankfully) minimal blood, lots of sweat, and tears of joy! Our journey began in 2019 with our WPPC mentee garden. From those first plant babies going in the ground, we knew we were hooked and our native gardens have continued to expand and multiply over the years. Our 160 year old home serves as the backdrop to many charming, cottage style gardens bursting with Liatris, Rudbeckias, and Milkweeds. Highlights include flagstone paths that meander through blooms, a small waterfall and pond, a robust vegetable garden, and a sprinkling of garden baubles to add a touch of whimsy. Come listen to the buzz of the pollinators while we share the peaks and valleys of our chaotic adventure in native gardening! This is not an open house. The guided walk led by the homeowner will begin at 10:45. The walk is free of charge and no pre-registration is required.
Directions: From the Knobloch/Taylor property, take Paddock back to Wilmot Rd and turn right. Turn right on Main St Rd. The house will be the first one on the right. 1202 Main St Rd, Spring Grove.
