Native Plant Sale

Each year the WPPC hosts a Native Plant Sale to enable local gardeners to have access to quality, locally grown, native plants. We carry over 150 species. Plants are available for every environment: prairie, savanna, woodland, and wetland. Many of our members are on hand to answer questions and help with getting the right plant in the right environment.
Plan on arriving early for the best selection because people start lining up around 11:00 a.m. A little pre-planning is helpful so you know where to go for what you are looking for. Quantities may be limited and due to crop failure, some may not be available. A plant list of what is normally available can be found here. Check out the event listing for details on the 2024 sale, which will be on May 5.
We also have a vendor (W & M Landcorp Organic Nursery) who has a great selection of organic heirloom garden vegetables and herbs.
Our extensive book table is also on-site to offer educational resources.
